The strip along the bottom--I've never seen that before :O

Nice, Ludovico Einaudi is recommended. Nuvole Bianche is such a beautiful song. Anyway, the thing at the bottom shows up if you click on some of the videos on the homepage I think, such as those under subscriptions, recommended to you and featured. It just displays the next videos in the queue pretty much and will automatically skip to the next one if you want it to. It's been there for a while.

It allows you to either look at your playlist or look at a recommended playlist depending on what you are currently playing.

it's playlists. under the video you can like click, add to and instead of favourites you can do queue or playlist

I think it's really cool. I wish the whole of YouTube felt abit more interactive like this though, so it felt more like a nice desktop application.
