Yesterday I had a lot to drink (alcohol) on an empty stomach, my headache has pretty much gone now but I have the worst stomach ache ever. Drank some water, hasn't really made much of a difference so I tried some milk and I was just sick. Or if what I drank was really acidy is there anything I can eat/drink that is alkaline or vice versa? Thanks in advance, fast answers would be great as I feel like ****. :(
you need some andrews (:

nothing much you can do now, you just gotta wait for it to pass.

That would be fine if they sold them in the corner shop down my road but thanks anyway I guess.

I am probably really hungry but I just can't eat anything that is sweet or sickly such as chocolate digestives, will try some toast though.

There are loads of remedies for upset stomachs, I just don't know many but I understand that ultimately only time will help it.

Oh lol chocolate digestives just automatically come into my head when I think of digestives, doubt we have any plain ones in. :/

Perhaps mine does to, just never looked for them in the shop before. Looks disgusting though, are they just tablets of salt or something?

I'd suggest just drinking water and getting some sleep.

There is a very good reason that your body craves things like chips and kebabs when you're out drinking - you need certain carb and/or fat supplies to be replenished so that you don't get this ill, especially if you didn't eat beforehand. Even I eat before drinking heavily. Take this time as a warning and just hope that it passes quickly :P

Should of drank loads of water before you went to bed, its what i do and most of the time i feel okayish in the morning.
Just drink something like coke/lucozade and go back to bed for an hour or 2.

Thanks for all the help! Later on in the day I was able to eat some bacon and drink some milk, since then I have been able to eat/drink things a lot better.
I don't know if anyone understands how this feels but I was really stupid and had way too much, I can't remember how I got home at all. The last thing I remember is trying to find somewhere to have a piss, then it was if I literally woke up in my bed. My clothes are soaking wet and muddy, still have my phone + money so glad I didn't lose them. I know I didn't get the bus because I hadn't spent any money at all (still have the same notes that I took). I just hate the idea of this, I probably made a right fool out of myself. I would actually seriously consider going to one of them places that hypnotise you and find out things that you can't remember as it bugs me that bad, although it would probably be really embarrassing. I honestly cannot remember anything, it's scary. There must be things that can help bring memory back?!

We always do something like that if not worse. All I can say is laugh it off and carry on!!!
I remember when I thought I was pissing in the loo but actually I was in the living room on the computer chair.
Oh and, One night stands are embarrassing sometimes!!!! just make sure u carry condoms these days as well!! As I known and have had sex and not known till 2/3 months later!

this thread is so cute
i remember my first total black out i was 15 and it was halloween and i was home in bed by half 9
got carried in by like 6 people and trick or treaters were like wtf..........
oh eh, if you want to TRY get some of your memory back, have people tell you what happened from the start of the night then whenever they saw you
usually just hearing stories brings back a few memories

Thanks for all the replies, while trying to find ways to help bring my memory back I found out that something called anterograde amnesia is what I suffered from. Not caused by how much alcohol you drink but how fast you drink it. It's when your alcohol blood levels rise so fast from drinking a lot of alcohol in a short time that the brain is unable to add anything to its short term memory. Thankfully none of my mates saw me again after I had wondered off looking for a place to piss. They said it was around 8 and I checked my cameras and I got home at 11. That proper freaks me out, walking into my house I don't even look that bad, I honestly cannot remember anything that happened in them 3 hours. Oh and regarding the hangover, I'm fine now obvs. :P

i think the most important thing is lots of rest!
eat before you go out and equal it out with water when you are drinking aswell it all helps with the dehydration factor. toast and normal bread will soak it up now though if you can stomach that:P

At least you didn't make a fool out of yourself, too many times have people told me about something I've done which I can't remember at all. :p

On my first hangover which took 3L of cyder on an empty stomach (since i normally only get tipsy or really tipsy), the next day i just had alot to eat to soak up the alcohol, bread and dry food is the best for this, like cookies and so on :).
Try not to drink so much next time :P I just had a bit of a headache and felt sleepy..but my stomach was so funny.. I know how you feel :P it was last year.. and i have a video on facebook thats really embarassing >.>
