Out of everyone I know I think I clung onto XP longer and more proudly. But the bark's worse than the bite on Windows 7, why not install that :P

Well i'd rather not download an OS illegally and i've got a lot of other stuff to spend money on - including my website and stuff.
I'd like to upgrade but its not a nessesity at the moment.

Fair doos I suppose, I can't exactly attempt to sway you into doing something first illegal and second something you're uncomfortable with, I apologize if I came across as trying to do so:P
Fortunately if Microsoft phases out support for XP MSN therefore upsetting the quality of the client you can always check out some third party clients, notably Pidgin and Kopete (although for Windows I still prefer the native MSN client these alternatives are a ready for use if need be).

Well illegaly downloading stuff - everyone does it - but if your OS decides its pirated then you've got problems - just aint worth the hassle lol.
Problem Microsoft face is XP is still the biggest OS used currently and of course software devlopers see this and aren't going to risk loosing a market that large.
LOL my msn does this, but i just find it really funny. it's so rude, ahahha.
