May I ask why these are worth so much? Like apples one is $1000, dells one is $1500..

Yet they are only like 26inch screens? Whereas you can get a 46in screens for $1250 ish?

Just wondering, is it just because of the resolutions?

Well i got a 60" Samsung for £1000 From curry's But :o Apple do cinema screens? (We are talking about TV's Right?)

No, computer monitors :P

IPS technology has better colours, better viewing angle, better contrast ratios, usually a worse response time.

So, probably a wrong assumption, I wouldn't say for the 'above average computer' they are not really worth the cost?

Unless you're doing colour intensive graphic design, no.

Yes, and most likely (just like the dell ones) over priced for any normal person.

I suppose there must be situations where it makes sense to buy cinema screens. In all honesty I thought Apple's monitor prices were justified under the whole it's magic and revolutionary thing :P
