Black Ops: SOH Pro and Hardline Pro info

Some new info on soh pro and hardline pro has come about.

Vahn recebtly said on twitter that SOH pro will not work on snipers.


Let me try that again. Sleight of Hand Pro does not work with any sniper class weapon.

I guess that means it's gonna be harder for quick scopers...

According to November issue of OXM, the pro version of hardline will allow you to gamble your carepackage for something else.

Imo I think both of those are good, being able to gamble on a carepackage if you get something like ammo or a uav is a really good idea.

If that SOH pro is right, thats ******* ******ed. If someone only uses snipers then thats a perk completely useless really. Its like saying heres £10 to use however you want except you cant buy chocolate, or something like that. Thats not balancing it, balancing it would be just remove auto aiming thing on snipers.

I fully agree with the SoH thing. You dont need to bring your scope up quick. A sniper should sit back and snipe, not rush. Also the Hardline thing sounds stupid as hell. I know, let's give you another chance to get an AC130 from a 4 killstreak!

I'm so God damn happy that SoH Pro won't work on snipers. I was getting sick and tired of those so-called-leet twelve year olds thinking they're amazing.

Finally, it wasnt a feature in cod4 so why should it even be contested in Black ops. im just sick of people complaining about petty things such as the models, they can shoot that far realisitically so why should they be nerfed because you have the reactions of my dead goldfish?

I agree with the petty complaints but this isnt really petty, its removing a whole perk pro if you have a sniper on. I dont applaud quickscoping in normal games but it is lols in private games and thats why it should stay on snipers, just remove aim assist stuff.

I think this is silly, quick scopes are fun to do on search when you're playing 12 year olds. I guess now it will be harder to do so it will be better.

I think it's stupid. I don't quickscope, but I still prefer SOH Pro because if you spot some guy about to run into cover, it's nice to be able to scope in quicker and have more of a chance to get them.

Oh, I know that quick-scopers don't camp; they get on my nerves a little less than the snipers that camp.

Recently ran a TD match in Wasteland and managed a 29/4 KDR doing nothing but melee kills. The entire team was posted up all around the map and sniping anyone who tried to go into the bunker area in the middle of the map, never once paying attention to the outsides of the map.

I'm pretty sure the whole point of a sniper is to hold up a possition which has a good view and rain down on stupid people who go into the open, obivously it is annoying but you wouldnt see a sniper in real life standing in the open trying to shoot at a couple of people 30 meters away with assault rifles.

When I snipe I normally move after 3/4 kills, it stops the idiots who have nothing better to do then look for the sniper who just killed them from finding you.

A sniper is supposed to camp a well trafficked area and let people know what's going on/try and pick people off. There are quite a few maps where my buddy will go straight to his favourite spot and then start calling out people trying to defend/attack bomb sites and what have you

It's physically impossible to "quick scope" with a sniper irl unless you want you hands to go with the bullet...

but as for the SoH, deffo a good idea, snipers should be used properly.

Don't really care about hardline, never gonna use it...
