Thankfully I have never had to see any of my friends die. The closest to it is having people in my school die. In fact in the 6 week holidays someone who had just left year 11 died on a moped in Greece. Then someone had an allergic reaction from a peanut who was 2 years below me.

Person at my school hung themselves a few months ago. I didn't really know him, so no thankfully none of my friends have died! Although tragic to those of you who have lost friends. :(

I've never had a close personal friend die, but last year a young woman on my course was killed in a car crash. I'm quite good friends with her friend so I can appreciate how devistating it can be.

Well I read everyone's comments and couldn't really think of anyone, then I've just realised the friend doesn't have to be in your age range.
My next door neighbour died on the 9th April 2009, sad times. He was always there he used to look after our cat every year when on holiday then that fatal day he died his grandson came banging on our door. My parents conforted him and went to see, he was a dignified man but died on the toilet. :(
My cat died that October, and I loved her. :( so yeah, that's kinda same as it included a cat.

there are so much car crashes here it's unreal but in all honesty i normally don't care, most of them were speeding anyway.
then my friend died 2 sundays ago because some drunk driver crashed in to her, she was the only one sober and the only one that died. her funeral was on sunday, at first i wasn't allowed to go but i did & wish i never it's really horrible. everyone says it won't happen to sum1 u know but it does n it suckssss.

I know loads of people who died, not friends, but LOADS and I mean LOADS.
Quite shocking that you once knew them and you can never imagine them being dead... but what if it happens to you? :/

Somebody from the year above fell through a roof once, knew who he was but never spoke to him.
Also had a mate from my childhood who moved away when i was about 9, about a year ago i heard he got hit by a car, hadn't even spoke to him for years, but i was absolutely devistated.

Nah, someone in the yr below died a few weeks ago though, along with his Dad. His Mum had already died, and his Brother's still alive with no parents at 17. You couldn't make it up.
one of my bosses died a while ago, she wasn't a friend as such but she was really really lovely. one minute she was told she had gallstones, next she find out it was a tumour, next she finds it's terminal cancer. was really devastating and it was the first funeral i ever went to, but the character that she was she got people to wear middlesbrough tops (whether they liked it or not) to her funeral as she loved them. i'll never get her elderly fragile mother breaking down in the front row screaming like 'no take me instead and stuff', terrible thing death. :(

Yes, two. One from cancer and another from a road accident. Someone I didn't care to know also died, due to his own stupidity, but it was a bit of a surprise when saw him when I had to photograph the scene.
No. It would be too hard if any friend of mine ever did :(
