If Habbox really wants to stay popular and be popular, it really should take advantage of days such as today.
Today would have been a perfect time for a member of the Habbox management or staff to create a nice looking Battle Banzai Games room and try and host as much as possible all evening and advertise the site and its competitions every so often. A large number of Habb's are playing this today and it would have been an ideal time.
Past management would have seeen this and would have ensured it happened.

There was a banner saying 'Search Nixt on Habbo.com for Battle Banzai' or something

I am positive Nixt had made one.
It was released. I quickly made a room called [Habbox.com] Battle Banzai or something similar. The room was FLOODED with people before I even time to put in the changing room things. So that was alrightm and then, I closed my room off and directed everyone to Nixt's room (which he had made very quickly after me) who advertised Habbox. There was also another room by -Bingobenny- who had his room very popular and also had Habbox.com in the room title. This was all temporary advertising, and it could have gone on longer but I guess it's better than nothing.
IF, management were dedicated, they'd stay up all night and keep a BB room for the Aussies who are waking up (or going to bed :P *cough me cough* ) and try and advertise more to the international base. We are on school holidays so yeah.

Room doesn't exist / isn't open.

Habbox has had a battleball room open pretty much all evening.
I've seen both Nixt and Roxy hosting today and they've only just emptied out. Both have been advertising the Habbox sites in the room too, so I don't think much more could have been done :)

Matt didn't seem to like the idea when I said Habbox should host it all night.

Search Nixt, bottom room made by him. It does exist but that doesn't matter since it isn't opened. :(

Ah my fault sorry. Its just that I went on and didn't see one when I searched Nixt or on nav.

Missing prime opportunity. BB furni was released about 11pm last night for Aussies... they are going to wake up and experience it for the first time. They're going to want to try before you buy.

Haha :) Roxy's emptied about 9:30pm due to people going to the Habbox Event aswell.
I saw Garion's on the popular list earlier too which is always good.
I think it should be a permanent room though - I can't really see people getting bored of Battleball like they have with football :P

I remember back in the day when Seacat and JackHb would do a giveaway which would last literally all day. Habbox really should do that with Battle Banzai.

You can play football on Habbo? :O How does that work?

It doesn't. No one plays it and it's really buggy and stupid. It's basically walking into a ball and pushing it.

I do think the management's activity on Habbo is very good - (much better than nvrspk and Sammeth.'s for that matter) and it's just the time of year that is to blame. Everyone is back at school, posting on HxF is down, all the departments are opening applications, HxHD is empty, etc. Happens every year - you can't help it. It's quite difficult attracting people to Habbox in the prime months, let alone now :P
You don't know about football? When was the last time you were on?! Haha :) Yeah it came out for the World Cup - it's still in catalogue as a permanent feature. You can buy field pieces, goals, scoreboards and little machines that change player's clothes. You play with a football that moves when you stand near it; all the furniture works together and you can have a game. Not my cup of tea, but many people liked it when it first came out.. seems to have died off now though :P

Not saying just one member, but delegate it.

Not played Habbo properly in nearly 2 years. Only really log on once every two week for a few minutes.
I came on around 1PM and had a banzai room open until 4 or 5PM I think, at least it was something like that. Throughout that time, the room was full almost constantly. As has been said, others have had rooms open too and we are intending to open a permanent room. Today's rooms were a measure designed to capitalise on the immediate popularity the game invited whereas the permanent one will be better managed and used more effectively as an event rather than a marketing tool.
With respect, I have a number of essays to complete and cannot do this while resetting a Battle Banzai arena every two minutes for what would be coming up to ten hours. We have dedicated time into Habbox not only today but in the past and have plans to do so in the future. I find it rather annoying that people seem to think we don't put a lot of time in, when I spent hours in my room today and have spent hours in the past in giveaways and the like.

I am sure you can understand my confusion when the notice was still there but the room wasn't. Also I apologised when someone pointed out that it was hosted earlier, but just trying to get a different staff / manager to keep it going would have been good rather than closing it.

I know quite a few people have made habbox ones today, and they've been really popular etc. I know Garions was doing really well, and was full to the brim earlier, all meaning great advertising. I had my small one open for a while earlier before I had work. Cosmic also has a battle banzai open atm with 20 people in.
I agree it is a brilliant opportunity though, and should be made the most of. It's a great way to get the name out there to international users during off peak UK times.
So yeah, I don't think it's been too bad really, with quite a few rooms being made by various people and promoted well etc, earlier, I did notice habbox was dominating the rooms list on the navigator for a while, and it was great to see it up there.
Edit, search 'Okapia' now on Habbo for a nice game of Battle banzai! :D 23 people there so far

It will take a lot of hard work, but one weekend if say 5 Habbox staff can make 5 games room, all beginning with "[Habbox.com]" and get them all popular, it will be huge as anyone looking at Games nav will just see Habbox.com

Shouldn't be limited to Staff. We should all get our rooms and get them pop at the same time, I agree.

I'm sure the rule is and always has been though that only Habbox staff can make ''Officiall' Habbox event/rooms.

Just because we have Habbox.com in the room name, doesn't mean we're official. Just advertising it by putting it in room name. Same as saying "Habbox".. just advertising it.

We have quite a few rooms on Habbo which are really popular in order to advertise Habbox.com
My trade room for example (Habbox Trade City) has a room rating for 4500 and will have like 30-50 people in it for around 3-5 hours a night. Roxy has her pool which is also very popular and now we can have a go at a popular Battleball.

Indeed. That would be great. Like there can be a announcement, staff get people to make rooms and try and get them all on pop. Would be great advertisement for Habbox as people will just see Habbox, and the name will spread more and hopefully more international users will hear of Habbox.

What he said. It's an advertising technique, doesn't make it official.

In fairness I don't think we've ever said "Wiizzz, you're not allowed to put Habbox.com in your Battle Banzai room name" and neither would we. For a start, how would we even stop them? There are only certain rooms we do not allow people to use the Habbox.com name - events, casinos and help desks.

No I agree with you, I was more replying to the fact that having Habbox.com in the room name doesn't make it official. I understand your point of view and you know I agree with you because I'm sure I've posted about this before. :)
