Does anyone know what the minimum wage for a 20 year old is? Cos KFC pays 5.10£ an hour and i swear minimum wage is higher than that for a 20 year old?

That's above minimum, for your age it's £4.83 with chances of increases over time. The £5.80 minimum which most companies go by just to make admin changes easier is only a legal minimum for persons aged 22 and older

What are the current rates of the national minimum wage?
There are three levels of minimum wage, and the rates from 1 October 2009 are:

£5.80 per hour for workers aged 22 years and older
a development rate of £4.83 per hour for workers aged 18-21 inclusive
£3.57 per hour for all workers under the age of 18, who are no longer of compulsory school age
