Well have you registered to Habbox.com?
I would say it is a scam looking at the e-mail address which it is from and if you think about it if you hadn't activated your account how have you already had over 700 posts ? Surely you don't need to activate something which already works - so its a scam in my opinion.

Well hover over the link and see what it is, if it's Habbox.com then it's correct but you've signed up so it's probably real. They probably didn't configure the email properly, I'll let someone know.

Yonder454 is a super admin on Habbox.com, this is why the email is from him. This email is genuine.
If i were you I would be careful with what you decide to do, try sending a help message to someone and see what they say.

The reason the e-mail is like that is because managers and above on Habbox.com accounts do not have an email attached to them so they can't be reverted etc. So they are changed to things such as that.

These two posts are correct. This email is not fake and is not a scam, this is a genuine email from Habbox when you register a account on the Habbox.com website, sorry for the confusion it may cause users and I understand where you are coming from but it is safe to click that link. If you want to be that extra secure, then you can just visit www.habbox.com and login with your details.

What about creating an account and attaching an @habbox.com email to it so people don't think that again? Might make it look a bit better too rather than saying it was sent from
[email protected] :p

Update:
It has been changed so it comes from a "@habbox.com" email from now on. Thanks for bringing this to our attention and I hope it prevents any further confusion to our members on the Habbox.com website.

Maybe if it was from "Habbox" instead of it being from "Yonder454" this might help clear up some confusion too.

Glad to hear that now it ends with @ habbox.com & yes i agree with flatface here, you should change the senders name from Yonder454 to habbox then people will know its a legit e-mail.

Sorry, I might not of made myself clear. With me changing it so it is a @habbox.com email it now actually says "Habbox" in the name and not "Yonder454".

I think everybody thought you meant that it was something like:
[email protected] am I wrong? Like to see that theres not going to be any confusion now anyway!

Ah no. I'll make it clear for the second time (sorry :P), basically the emails were coming from whatever email account was on Yonders account and this then added Yonder's name into the email subject. This is what was confusing users as they didn't think it was a real Habbox email, what I did was is any emails from Joomla (The CMS Habbox runs on) to the users are now sent by:
[email protected]. This then in the email subject has the words "Habbox".
