My dad ordered a contract phone on Wednesday for me (Nokia X6 touch screen) and it arrived on Friday and there is a problem that Virgin Media screwed up and now my account is suspended. We had to wait like one hour for virgin to pick up and then what help did they give? Nothing. They told us to firstly switch off the phone and wait 10 minutes and then turn it on but then it didn't work. Then they said they will email us throughout the afternoon with updates and they didn't! I am now currently stuck with a phone, being charged like £1 for the phone calls to Virgin with no use of the phone now I can't text or phone or use the internet which is what the tariff is all about! Fed up now and they better sort it out by tomorrow otherwise my dad will have to cancel it and get a phone on a differant network.
Has anybody had this problem before and might know what I can do apart from wasting my money phone Virgin media up and getting no help at all from their stupid customer services?

Just incase you didn't know and to save yourself wasting more money, using a phone that is on Virgin should give you free calls to Virgin customer service. If your phone doesn't work then does anyone else in your household have a phone on virgin? Good luck with getting it sorted out.

It should do but like I said, the account is suspended and therefore I don't have that privilage just yet. This means it is like 10p a call and we have to sit on the line for an hour waiting for somebody to pick up.

This thread is useless without you telling us what the problem was, It could be the problem that you caused really..so yeh...
Maybe VIRGIN has bad customer services but the problem could have been avoided, but we dont know that as there not much information really..
More like a rant..
Ring 151 (Technical Support) on your Virgin Phone (Home/Mobile) and tell them. Don't bother with 150 (Customer Services) as they don't know anything except what services they can try and sell you.
If you've been ringing the 0845 (or similar) number to ring Virgin then that's your own fault for not reading the documentation that would have came with the phone.

Just so you know I spent (well of my dads money) like £100 phoning talktalk - so £1 is actually quite good :P

Make sure you're phoning the right people - there is a difference between Virgin Media and Virgin Mobile. Different divisions.

They both still run through the 150 and 151 numbers.
