I'm from europe yet 1and1.co.uk won't allow me to buy a .eu domain. They say Irish residents must buy domains through the .com website, yet they don't allow you to purchase .eu domains for obvious reasons (us isn't in europe lol) which is ridiculous.
Does anyone know any other websites doing deals on .eu domains?

I wish I could say that I do, but unfortunately I can't.
Considering that a majority of the people on here are from the UK, people from the US (such as myself) can only help with a small handful of issues.

So we have to be in Europe to buy the domain? You might want to contact them about that conisdering Ireland is in Europe last time I checked. But anyway I believe http://www.123-reg.co.uk/ sell .eu domain names also.

I know the following sites sell .eu domains:
http://www.cheap-registrar.com
http://tech-hosts.co.uk/domains/domains
http://1and1.co.uk
http://one.com
I don't know about having to be in a certain location to be able to purchase.
