Hey,
The smallest updates, can make the biggest difference. I love the whole idea around the 'playlist' & the 'song review' pages, the problem is though I don't think many people bother reading them. Its not that they're bad reviews because they are actually quite good. The main problem is the layout of the pages, I don't like how you have to open new pages to view the reviews. Habboxlive should try & get a simple content box coded for both pages. This is just an idea, obviously you could ask one of the graphic designers to design something better but this is my general idea.

Weekly shows
It would be nice to see more perm shows as they are normally unique & its nice to listen to a different show now & then, rather than have different djs just repeating the same things / playing the same songs for hours non stop. They are also out of date.
Twitter
The twitter is a great way to keep habboxlive listeners up to date. However it should be only used for advertising events or posting latest updates. I'm sure people don't follow habboxlive to look at senior djs tweet stuff like asking users to go on non habbo / habbox related sites to play games. If they did, they would follow that individual.
Favicon
As I requested in the past, a favicon. The blank page logo makes it confusing to navigate to & from different tabs, it also looks tacky.
Banners
There's currently two banners rotating, its pretty boring seeing the same banner every two seconds. Fair enough, you might not have staff with perm shows to add new banners, even if you could just get a few banners made advertising the forum, events & competitions.
Jobs
Some people who are thinking about applying may have a great voice, but just struggle to even send an email. It is pretty self explanatory at the moment but you need to understand some of the people applying are really young. Not only that, professional / older djs won't bother applying because its simply too much effort.
It would make the page cleaner & it would just make things allot easier for applicants if there was a email form. Habboxlive currently have three applications, have drop down menus?
Box 1
Group 1
Group 2
Group 3
Box 2
Habbo name
Box 3
Habbox forum name
Box 4
Drop down of different timezones
Box 5 (How many songs have you got)
100 - 200
200 - 400
400 - 800
800+
And so on, you get were I'm coming from.
Radio
Have a wider range of tune in options, quicktime, iTunes, wmp and so on.

I'd agree with all these points you've made. I haven't listened to HabboxLive in a while but Perm Shows were always the best shows there are as they had a set criteria and they made it entertaining for the listener to listen to. So it's not like the same old DJ'ing style which seems repeated all the time with DJs nowadays. It gets quite boring and drab, whereas the Perm Shows add a sense of variety and a set standard.
The HabboxLive Twitter is atrocious at the moment and is so drab. As Richie says it should be a way to promote events or updates about what's new, not to get on Habbo :S
Favicons are great, I disagree with Richie in terms of that it makes it easier to navigate tabs since not all browsers put the Favicon in the tab bar, I know for sure Safari 5 doesn't, they put the Favicon in the address bar, however Favicons does make the site look a hell of a lot more professional, and it might be a small change but Favicons are kind of a Web-Standard for most sites nowadays.
Emailing isn't the hardest thing so I wouldn't say the exact problem is emailing their applications... I think the problem is that people can't be bothered with the hassle. The way Richie's set out has streamlined the process of applying and makes it a lot easier for people to apply who may have great voices and be great for HabboxLive but don't necessarily want to email as it's an annoying form of communication especially when you can just streamline it all on the site, it's not impossible, and I don't know why it hasn't been done yet.
Also with what Richie's pointed out, have a stream that is capable of being streamed on modern smartphones. I know a lot of people probably would love to tune in on their iPhones or their iPod Touches, their Android phones and soon. There are formats that are supported on smartphones which mean you can stream live media to the smartphone. Like with the iPhone it's Quicktime. With Nokia phones it's generally Real Player and soon. So if you have more options to tune in, you'll find that you can reach a lot more people and people that aren't necessarily always strapped to their desks but may want to listen on the go.

they might aswell just advertise runescape or something :P
That is despicable, powerful word. But that is not what the twitter was created for, if it's a senior DJ they are blatantly abusing it.
In my view, I wouldn't care about songs reviews, I would care about getting the best DJs I can, then promoting HxL to the Habbo community as much as I can.

I agree but in recent threads they said 'they are working on it'.
Regarding the HabboxLive Twitter, it is something that came to the attention of General Management and plans are currently in place to abolish it altogether and have radio management utilise a new, revamped Habbox-wide twitter with which they can promote significant events or site updates and developments. This is pending any significant objections on the part of Management but at the moment it does seem as if it will be going ahead.
HabboxLive has song reviews? The only thing promoted by DJs are the timetables only in comps so I don't know why they should focus revamping part of the site which no one uses. I use Habbox alot and I tune in most days and I honestly didn't even know there was that kind of stuff.
Song reviews should have been a joint project between HxL and news. We were more than happy to do so, but the HxL decided to do it all themselves. Hey, I don't mind if they want to focus on doing song reviews rather than DJing quality and what not.

actually it was myself and Jess that put that on the twitter, the listeners like when the DJs interact with them and playing on ompop with them is just as good as talking to them, think if you were a younger listener you'd love it if the DJs done that.

Think it's a silly idea to combine both of them together, lose 200 odd followers? Then only radio management can use it? Seems a bit silly when currently senior DJs/perm show hosts can get access to use it and post about their perm shows etc. It would be so much easier to continue using both I don't see a problem with having 2 really if i'm honest.

LOL, the amount of time we waited for it to be done we were quicker doing it ourself, the same as room reviews. It's so much easier for management of HabboxLive to sort it out themself rather than waiting for other departments to do it.

Because it's currently being utilised pointlessly for little more than advertising random games or telling other DJs that they are sexy. It's completely pointless and even if it were used just to spout out "Tune in to DJ x at xPM for x show" it really doesn't hold much value or substance and I can't see many, if any, of the followers paying much attention to tweets such as that. That is why we are merging it with the Habbox twitter which itself is getting a revamp in that it will no longer provide a feed to the Community Noticeboard but be utilised by members of Management to post significant tweets - in the way that twitter is supposed to be used. It makes perfect sense to bring the two together and appropriately use it as a marketing tool and for information to those who follow it, rather than random tweets to other DJs and the occasional advertisement of an event or show. Furthermore it won't be difficult for HxL followers to migrate to the @Habbox twitter.

I personally think the whole HabboxLive site needs to be redone or just the content perhaps. It just looks too basic, and needs to be more modern to be upto date with current Habbo fansites. I know you not long ago changed it but it needs to be made a little more advanced.

The amount of time we waited. You didn't even communicate with us, Martin and I were just sat there waiting for your replies to our PMs. Then you decided to go full circle and do it yourselves, enraging many people, including those in general management.
