Neither.

Personally, I would get an HTC Desire or one of the new motorola range (e.g. motorola droid X)

Definitely the iPhone 4!! It's just an all-round great phone. If you desire more "freedom" then you can jailbreak it and customise it to hell, but personally I think if that's the type of thing that interests you then an Android would be a much better suited phone for you as they are more open.

I say get a Nokia N900 and install MeeGo on it. MeeGo's really good OS and since it's currently not on any retail model phones you'll need a Nokia N900 to install it, which is a MORE than capable phone and I'd say it beats the iPhone and Blackberry in many contests.

BlackBerry Bold!!!!!!!!!

Just nicer.

NO TO THIS!

I think you should get the iPhone out of both phones you said. The iPhone has a much bigger and nicer touch screen with an easier to use touch interface (multitouch). It has many more applications and better hardware specifications.

Samsung Galaxy S. Superior Phone with fabulous features and it wont cost you an arm and a leg to buy one like a certain fruit related phone.

No although they are impossible to find here!

My friend was trying to buy one. They are a very good Android device but we searched everywhere and they're selling faster than--well--the iPhone here :P

Also I realise you've spoken about the Blackberry Torch, and although the features on the phone are very good, the processing power is awful :l It's the laggiest phone i've ever had the displeasure to taste. I still stick with my guns though and fully recommend the Nokia N900 with MeeGo installed. It doesn't come with it, you'll have to install it yourself but it's not hard. MeeGo's the best mobile OS recently come out, and if you want to wait until the end of next month you can have the choice of Windows Phone 7 which smash the iPhone and Blackberrys out the window.

I'm not a fan of the iPhone, but Blackberries are just terrible.

I am most inclined to agree with you. For a normal phone a Black Berry is just awesome. For use abit beyond that there is a broad range of Android or iOS devices which are better for your needs.
