What do you do to get yourself out of a low mood. Usually I listen to music, but it isn't working. I've been like this all day now and its getting on my nerves (which is making me feel worse).

Attention-seek until someone asks you what's wrong and discuss your problems with them, they'll do everything to help you and like it gives you a proper confidence boost :D Then just watch some show you really like? Like yesterday I watched Gossip Girl and was well made up!

Attention seeking is the worst thing as my friend-ish does it and i want to knock her face off, anyway.
I listen to music, smoke, or get really drunk or a cuddle and some fun ;) :)

Oh attention seeking is a bag of fun. Just post loads of Facebook status updates feeling down and say you wanna kill yourself and eventually you get someone really caring to nurture you back to health :D

And the middle 2 show a really bad example to people :S

Like say your heart has been smashed ;)
No attention seeking is pathetic and boring and annoying. :)

Sure but then you get people who come in and think they know what they're talking about when they don't. ;)

Pfft attention seeking is the way to get people to compliment you and it's always made me feel good about myself :')

They're digs. Because you think you're being funny but quite frankly you're not.

And there's nothing wrong with attention seeking if you do it for the right reasons.

I normally strap on the rollerblades and go for a stroll whilst listening to my iPod. Not only is it a good workout, it allows me to clear my mind.

When I don't feel as I wish I listen to either Ludovico Einaudi or Hans Zimmer. Either of the two write beautiful music and it makes me feel more relaxed and at ease.

Either that or I find something new to get involved in, or work on a hobby, usually coding or reading a new book as I can get into either of those things and forget about whatever's bothering me!

marriott0.01 I agree with you, because when you have people fussing over you, it does cheer you up, or helps cheer me up anyway. Also though listening to music is a good one, cuddling with a bf/gf is a good one aswell and lastly if you do smoke, bum a couple of those ciggies ;) Chills me out.

It depends what sort of attention seeking you are talking about. People go too far and start self harming, then they love to make everyone aware about it with the cuts/scars so they can get all the attention. That's why when I have seen people flaunting their cuts/scars around I just ignore them. I'm not saying that the only reason people self harm is for the attention, just that a lot do. If you mean attention seeking as in putting in your status that you are feeling down or whatever then I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

Yeah that's the kind of attention-seeking I mean. I would never self-harm for attention it's just sick :S I'm afraid of pain aswell ;[
