How can I make my posts split in different categorys?

For example I have a navigator as follows:

All | Cars | Funny

How can I make all the posts appear on the 'all' page but set them into different pages if they have the category 'cars' or 'funny'

If I think what you are asking correctly, when you create a post on wordpress. At the side you have the choice of what category you can have them in? So if you like let them all be on "All" then choose the correct one so a car post, you would tick car? Not sure If this makes any sense or it's what you are asking.
