Compaq Presario Car Charger CQ60

Hey all

im travelling down to southampton next sunday by car. its about a 6 hour drive so ill be taking my laptop to complete some assignments and learn my theory for driving. i found this one (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Replacement-Notebook-Presario-including-included/dp/B002YOLU36/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=computers&qid=1286014540&sr=8-1) on amazon but i just want you to double check that it will work. I will be sat in the back seat of the car. I dont know if you need the make, but i'll be driving down in a 10 plate ford focus. will the charger be long enough to reach to the back seat without stretching?

Thats only the power brick to laptop, nothing in that will make you be able to plug into into your car charger.

All you need is a 3-pin UK socket to car power socket, like this:

Not sure if it'll work though.

They got hot though, but that's common sense seeing as a laptop uses up alot of power and a car socket wasn't designed to power these things.
