Camtasia 7 recording problem?

I can record fine with it but when i try to get the clip i just recorded onto my editing program (vegas movie studio) it doesn't work.

If there a file type i need to make it or am i doing something wrong??

Have you saved it under WMV or something if not then you might need to do that option

sorted it, i have to save it as avi.
