How many is unlimited? Cause it's not really unlimited though is it?
I don't wanna go over my contract which is already £45 a month so like I was just wondering how many IS unlimited.

Ring up and ask. For Three, its 3,000 I think.
When I was on Orange it had a "fair usage" policy and that basically meant 100 texts a day, but I regularly went over and sent like 6,000 a month and I was never charged extra. I think it's just if you really take the piss and send something like 50,000 then they would charge you - kind of like a method of stopping companies buying a contract phone for £30 a month and sending hundreds of thousands of texts with it.

Your allowance is 2000 text per month. However these 2000 text messages work out under a penny each! Infact 4 text are the equivalent of only 3p. That’s ¾ of a penny a text message! This is an offer sure to impress! If you go over the 2000 text you are charged at o2’s standard rate.
From my experience, O2 and T-Mobile don't give a crap. I've been with O2 since they started out as BT Cellnet, but now I've transferred to T-Mobile.
I had unlimited with O2 and used to text a lot, about 3,000 a month and never had any problems. They never charged or sent me letters/texts.
Same with T-Mobile.

I seem to get over 11891* texts a month and that is on PAYG. God knows why they limit it too much lower on contracts?
unlimited in o2 terms (in my tariff) is 12,000 so yeah which is unlimited for me because i dont send that many!!

It's fair usage policy. So people can't send like 1million texts to use them for advertising. :P
