Hi

I made a new world and wanted to make a train-track that ran under the water and to the other side of like an island.

The only thing is as I took the track under water, water just stayed there.

I closed off the water supply on one end and it's still there. It's a nightmare really.

Screenies:

So what can I do to take out the water? Would a bucket work?

There are three ways. Use a bucket, put any block in it's place, then remove the block, or use sponge. Except not the sponge one, as i'm pretty sure you can't get sponge in single player. :P

Yeah sponge doesn't work in Single Player. So just do what I did; get a **** tonne of dirt, fill out the shape of your base, then cover it in glass and dig out the dirt. You could also use planks to define the shape and then just burn them, which is faster.
