It's part of growing up, not much you can do about it.

Drink plenty of water and avoid touching your face a lot, wear a hairband to bed too to stop the natural oils of your hair getting into the skin pores. :)

Putting toothpaste on them at night help doesn't it. What I heard anyway.

Not much you can do, if you have a fringe try pulling it back on a night so no grease can go on your face.

I know how you feel, spots are so annoying. I tried an egg wash to get rid of them, which never really helped.
A natural way to get rid of them is to put honey on your face and leave it on your face while you sleep. It may be a little sticky and messy, but it's definitely worth it.

Spots are just part of growing up. There are all kinds of remedies out there but I have never really found anything that has done much for me. Some say that chocolate cause spots, some say that fatty/greasy food cause spots, some say that not washing your face often enough cause spots, some say that long hair causes spots etc. So if you didn't eat any chocolate or fatty food, always had your hair tied back and washed your face twice a day with exfoliating wash, and did this for a week - you might just see some results. In fact I would be interested to know if it helped at all.

When I had them, there wasnt much you could do. I had tried loads of creams, lotions and what not else, I even got some sent from Russia which were supposed to be amazing. But the spots never really disappeared.. the redness came off & they werent as swollen up, but they were still there and theres no cure from getting rid of them, the maximum you can do is take the redness off I sppose.

My mum and dad said the same thing "try all you want, but you wont get rid of them with all these creams, they will go by themselves." And its true, same thing happened with my friends.

The mistake I made, was that I picked them quite a lot & popped them too often and because you have all those germs and bacterias underneath your nails, they will go into your blood and you'll get more spots, that are bigger and worser! So avoid touching them!

I use Clearasil wipes which actually seem to work (I can't believe it either) as the spots my forehead and my left have completely gone and the spots on my right check are going too (nearly gone).

i just let them come and go as and when they appear since nothing actually gets rid of them anyway
i read somewhere that using a shower and putting hot water on the spots, then cold water right after helps though, try it and you'll get a numb cheek haha

Yeh it's basically just the case of exposing your skin to hot temps which opens the pores in your skin, then quickly changing to a cold temp which shuts them. This is an effective way of thoroughly cleaning them out and should help you get clearer skin.

pretty much this
best thing i did was leave my skin alone. no make-up on it, no chemicals. i only ever run the shower over my face and that's it.
good diet, exercise, lots of water & sleep blahblahblah. it's not taught to you for no reason.

if u need to wear make-up or need to wash your face with something, use natural products they're more gentle

Best thing I ever did for my skin was to just leave it alone. I wasted so much money buying loads facewashes/creams etc and they just made my skin irritated and really red. Just give it time! (:

If they dont go away with any of the advice above, theres always medicines you can get from your doctors (creams and drugs) and if they don't work, you can get put onto treatment of roacutane, which quite will rid them :)

Roacutane should only really be considered as a last resort. It is known to have pretty severe side effects such as depression and body aches. It will leave the skin fragile and vulnerable to damage as it slows down the repair time of damaged skin.

aha

I use clearasil to. Its actually really effective, and works wonders quite quickly. You can get them in most superstores, and Wilkinson sell them a bit cheaper! ;)

You should avoid drinking fizzy drinks and you shouldn't eat a lot of sweets :P Drink a lot of water instead. if you have a fringe put it back so your forehead doesn't get as sweaty. If it's sunny the sun might dry them out a little bit.

i've bought some clearasil night stuff (:
And I tried once to drink water, and not eat sweets but it's too difficult for me, I drink coke and eat sweets and stuff.
is juice okay?
And the reason I've got so many at the moment is because of the suncream i put on while i was on holiday which really annoyed me because I thought they were all going to dissapear because of the sun but now i'm like daaaaaamn.
thanks for all the advice (:
