View Full Version : [Request] CreeperCraft - A Brand New Minecraft Fansite. ~ Need staff.
http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/7598/creepercraftbanner.png
CreeperCraft is going to be a brand new Minecraft fansite focused on bringing videos, guides and of course, a community!
We're hoping to open as soon as possible! However, this means that we're in need of some staff. We're currently in the very early stages so we're not needing any moderators or content staff as of yet.
For now, we're looking for;
- Assistant Forum Manager
- Forum Techie
- Graphics Manager/Staff
If you feel you have what it takes to be a part of this, then PM me with;
- Why you should have the job
- Past experience (past work in the case of Graphics staff)
- Anything else we should know
Obviously having the game and playing it is a must for assistant forum manager, but is not required for Forum Techie/Graphics Staff.
Thanks,
Nemo (Forum Manager/Co-Owner)

Haven't got the first clue when it comes to graphics or techie stuff so it looks like the assistant forum manager is the only suitable thing for me. It's just really a matter of what you want out of the assistant forum manager. I do have a small amount of experience from co-owning a habbo forum on vBulletin which you could read about in my first ever post on the forum (welcome thread). The problem I had was not being able to get the members to post, we could get them to join easily through giveaways but that's pretty much where it ended...
Oh, i forgot to mention that for the Forum Techie job, they'll obviously need experience in VBulletin which is the forum we're going to be using.

What does a Forum Techie have to do? I know my way around vBulletin forums (admin panels and stuff) but I wouldn't be able to create skins because I am awful at that lol
Good luck with the website. I'll probably join.
I'll definitely be joining and may apply for Assistant Forum manager if I get around to PMing you.

Sadly that position has already been filled now. Feel free to apply to the other slots or wait for more staff positions to open!
Still in need of a Forum Techie and Graphics staff!

I'd go for forum techie if it was phpBB3, I know it like the back of my hand. Bloomin typical, trust a habbox user to always decide a VB forum is required for a start up :P.

It's still a waste, especially since I can't apply to help now D:
The 'somewhat' official minecraft forums uses phpBB3 with 1000 visitors at a time..

Which is exactly why we wanted to use VB, in order to stand out from the already established Minecraft forum. It's also a really easy forum to use and people generally have atleast some experience with it, so it seemed the best option to have.

Yeah, I personally love VB, and there is so much more depth you can go into with settings and around the AdminCP. :)

People on habbox do tend to favour VB for whatever reason :P It's such a shame, I enjoy modding phpbb3 and making little edits to get something to work differently and there are so many cool mods and because some of them are old you get to spend a couple of hours recoding it to get it to work and you learn so much at the same time.
