The Ward - John Carpenter's new film

Wondering if anyones heard about John Carpenter's new upcoming horror film the ward.

I read about it a few years back and its apparently going to be released possibly this month (could be a rumour)

Its about a woman in a mental institution who finds herself haunted by a ghost and wont actually be written by Carpenter, but newcomers Michael and Shawn Rasmussen.

I hope this could possibly be a return to the world of film for a guy I do consider quite a legend especially in the horror genre, which is a favourite of mine.

It screened the other day. Reviews were mixed. Another bleh entry from Carpenter.

I've heard its good, I've heard its bad - I'm glad there isn't too much hype around it and it might turn out okay

He hasn't made a good film in 20 years.

but he could come back and do it good - deserves a chance

[Suspective]

Hopefully it should be a good entry by him, I would like to see a good film by him again.
