I am wanting to change from factory O2 to T-Mobile, can anybody point me to a decent tutorial that actually works, thanks.

Erm.. they don't have firmware carrier specific - it's either locked or not. There's no tutorials.
You can get it unlocked from O2 OR jailbreak it and unlock it from there.

Just used jailbrake.me, installed cydia and then used ultrasnow to unlock. Took 5 minutes and worked like a charm, thanks guys.

Also, if you call your network they'll unlock any handset for a £30* charge. Although, iPhones you can always jailbreak. If you have any issues keep in mind to 'restore' your device as otherwise it's warranty is broken with the jailbreak.

*depends on network.

You may swell update to 4.0.1... And then jailbreakme.com and then unlock. Much better firmware.
