Adsence Tips?

A few weeks back I decided to finally put Google Adsence adverts onto my website in the hope of making a little bit of profit.

Whats the best way to use Adsense? The problem is that while a few people may click on them most people will just ignore them meaning we will hardly make anything.

Is there a trick to it?
