I have a friends birthday coming up and we're all going out for Halloween

I'm trying to think of ideas as what to go as, something thats a little bit different? I think it has to fit in with the theme of Halloween so like your witches and vampires and stuff, so it's not just any random fancy dress which is why I want to try and find something a bit different.

Any ideas will be a big help, and also Im not really wanting to spend anything over £25/30!

You could go as a zombie Staburst..x lol. Use face paint to paint your face and arms and distress some of your old clothes and use some mandatory blood lol I think that should fit in with the theme and I doubt anyone would go as you :P.

I love the whole idea of dressing up in a nice kind of dress, or skirt and blouse, with a scary touch to it. So maybe like the picture above.

Make it on the cheap, just get some really basic white tshirt and cargo trousers either old ones you don't want or go Store 21 or one of those places that has such things for a couple of quid apiece and dye them red (or buy them red if they have them but Store 21 isn't usually exciting enough to have colours) and then go to any fabric shop to get a length of anything red for a cape. Cheaper and better looking than those plastic costumes you get in the halloween aisle at Tesco. Then obv red body paint etc etc

Go as Count Orlock. Buy a good C.O. mask online and go scare people.

It may be from 1922, but find me a generally more frightening vampire and I'll give you £5,000*.

*not really.

Don't be silly they didn't have the Macarena in 1922

also Mona the Vampire because somehow things she IMAGINES affect reality which is pretty scary when you think of some of the things a 10 year old might imagine

Back on topic of halloween costumes, anyone got an idea for how I can fill a bra to look somewhat real rather than the lumpy unpredictability of socks or toilet paper (looking for Tara or Jen to post, they have experience with this)? Would also appreciate any suggestions for the best way to fix the rubber on my platforms so they don't fall to pieces when I walk

Go into Primark and if you dont find it too shamefull (aha) get one of their Super Boost air bras, these things are immense and can make a guy look like he's got boobs. Also it saves you from filling a bra when it can come out. The bra is only like a fiver.

Oohh the Alice in Wonderland is a good idea!

I am going as a zombie doctor. I brought some cheap scrubs from the net, going to tear them up a bit and cover them in blood and dirt then going to make my face zombified woohoo cheap and cheerful
