Well eventually I'd like to imagine all cars will be built in with internet accessHaha, that will probably happen. You'll have the car driving on it's own and you could have wifi. Would be good though!

Google is already been testing "Self-Drive" cars, it was in the news not that long ago. Although it won't become a standard yet but "future" it could do.

James Bond style then? Sounds interesting :)

Computers will be controlled just by thought which i think will be brilliant and easier to use.
Video games will be even more realistic so you feel like you are really there.

Sort of nearly there. I think I read the new Ford Focus will have Wi-Fi in 2012, but that's probably only going to take off in the US rather than here in the UK, but could be wrong. It's either that, or cars pick up the internet using 3G (or 4G, if that's still in development) and can beam it around the car in its own little isolated network. Heck, it's amazing cars don't yet pick up E, G or 3G for things like computer updates where cars might even have their own computer with a functioning OS :P

You can already use a MiFi or similar 3G->WiFi device to make a car wifi zone, and with a car charger it serves the same purpose.

Console games that have real looking graphics, meaning you'd struggle to tell which is the game and which is the film when compared.

i usually take my laptop with me when i travel, so it would be cool to set up a wifi in my actual car.. hmm

Or just ditch the whole games console phenomenon and have more sophisticated online gaming.

These are all just my opinions and is a lot of me rambling. I will most likely be wrong everywhere here :P
We will all own some sort of tablet like device. Instead of having an actual computer we will still be able to use this tablet with monitors keyboards mice tvs and whatever we want by linking the two together (for example if I brought my tablet close to my monitor it would be paired together and allow me to use the tablet wirelessly with my monitor). Essentially this means we will all just have one computer/tablet that is flexible and portable and will mold to the working environment of our choice whether it be on a bus ride with just the tablet itself or using this tablet machine as a fully functional computer replacement with multiple monitors mice and keyboards alike in an office.
Phone companies will be a thing of the past and they will become known as data carriers. There will be wireless data and wired data. phone plans will be gone and we're already seeing VOIP phone service gaining popularity. With Google TV and internet streaming media services we wont be paying for cable either. I think we'll just end up paying only for two services, wireless and wired data. We're even already seeing internet prices being reduced and walls being torn down across the world in terms of limitations. I think eventually all these services will just be put into one basket called data.
The console gaming industry will be a thing of the past. I think it's going to be merged into the general personal computer industry which of course I think will eventually be transformed into using much more portable personal computers to do as I said foremost here about tablets.
Even in the lower forms of education we're going to use tablet devices more in education, I think it's going to optimize the education experience a lot more than our generation has known. I think the internet has influenced, and will continue to grow in its influence when it comes to education, and perspective.
There is a vast amount of internet communities at present. I think eventually one new sort of community is going to take lead over all the others. I don't mean a social networking site or a twitter like service. I mean something like one massive general forum sort of like Habbox is, but with totally customized and unique software which will replace many communication protocols like email, texting. Essentially a service where you can contact anyone in form of a electronic letter or conversation by their name or take part in public discussion however you want like a forum (and how this would work is for every website there is, of course the site, but I think a service will arise where for every site or group of similar sites there will also be a forum automatically created for discussion hosted on some service). I think this would work much more fluidly than individuals choosing to install forum systems on their website and would spark much more conversation.
Windows and OS X will face severe competition from the mobile device operating system industry over the next five years. I think Microsoft and Apple will eventually choose to discontinue either their flagship OS or it's counterpart mobile OS because the opposite excels in performance and features or each of the companies two operating systems will eventually progress with development into ultimately being the same thing with such a level of compatibility that the company simply sides with one OS and incorporates the best of features from the other into it. Much like when MacOS 9 was switched over to OS X, compatibility layer and all.
Something abit too futuristic for me but cool that I want is to own glasses with translucent displays in them in which I can navigate with my eyes quite like Steven Hawking does. That would just make life far too easy.

I disapprove. While I don't doubt the fact that cars will eventually drive themselves, it upsets me for the simple reason that I love to drive. I'd prefer to be in control of my car, not the car in control of me, thank you.

If any of that happens then I think that is in many many years to come and we will probably not see it happen. I just can't see some of your points from actually happening to be honest, time will tell of course! :P
i reckon that media and technology are going to create a stronger bond and could even change the way we live our lives :)

It sort of exists now, but its only really in its early stages, but there are ways you can link up technology to the human body, such as implanting microchips to work alongside and act as nerves etc. It can allow you to interface with technology and control using simple simple thoughts which would act as commands. There's even ideas to install a chip in your brain which will allow you to think in more unique and diverse ways (like imagining the world in 4D :P). It would be kinda cool, and I could imagine that in the future the internet isn't actually viewed on computer screens and whatnot, but inside our minds.
I think it would be a cool world to live in, if it ever happens.

I think eventually, maybe not for several centuries, but eventually we will be able to just imagine a place, for example our work place, and we will be taken there. I also think that games consoles won't exist, and will be merged with the PC, in which several things are possible:
for example...if you are writing a word document..you don't have to type it, you speak it and the computer recognizes your voice and types it for you. This would help dyslexic people, and also just make it easier & quicker :).
Oh, and the screen wouldn't exist, it would just appear in front of you, sort of as a hologram.
When playing games the "hologram" as I am going to call it, will be basically go 3D, and you will be surrounded by the other characters in whatever room you are in. If you are playing a shooter and you are shot, it will hurt, obviously you won't die, but it will hurt, if you get an injury playing football, you will be hurt, ect. Basically they will able to get to your nerves... :)
Also, I'd like to see personal jets be smaller and more people own them, I mean like the size of cars, but that will take a long time lol.

we will have a choice between the non hover bus and hover bus
As sarcastix said.
Microchips which allow you to explore more than the current state of consciousness in terms of gaming (if that even makes any little bit of sense)
such as, big BIG empty rooms which enable you to immerse yourself in a game the chip also links with the organic state of the building and everything object wise is created.
I remember about 6 month ago watching a video of a guy with some plastic and a few wires trailing off, must have been about 4 inch big and it had the properties of a tv in terms of it being capable of video playback. this was on some clear plastic. if technology goes far enough this will be implemented into car windows maybe with a sort of screening effect with infared lighting and a camera to show the road clearer. Speedometer overlay, Call screen with voice. Hell the possibilitys of that idea are endless!
