If you want to come here with no money and stay somewhere cheap - bring a big bergen type bag and just carry it around everywhere with you.. Things get nicked in hostels.

bear in mind that londons huge and you'll need money to use the trains/buses/taxis.. if you had to walk from east london to west london that would take so long i dont even wanna think about it. also dont leave anything unattended anywhere, people will steal the laces from your shoes if they're desperate enough..

You can't travel to London with no money. It's as simple as that.

I stayed in one one.... (One around corner from radio1).... Not something I would do again.... Not very nice when people are like wtf when you turn up at 2/3 in the morning... You can't get anything in london for free.

Everyone surely knows someone in London though, a friend or family member, stay with them :)

If you want my opinion, try and find a cheap B&B just outside london, then go on the train every morning.

+1 pretty much what i do stay further away from the centre of london but still easy to travel.
