Like last year, people are trying to go against the X Factor once again but with John Cage's 4'33, basically a song with 4.33 minutes of silence with a few coughs.
The UK singles chart could see another anti-X Factor challenge for the Christmas number one, according to reports.
MTV has claimed that a1952 track by American artist John Cage could be this year's answer to 2009 number one single Killing in the Name by Rage Against the Machine.
The Rage Against the Machine kept Joe McElderry's X Factor winner's song The Climb off the top spot.
The song adopted by Facebook group Cage Against the Machine is 4'33''[I], which is purely four minutes, thirty-three seconds of silence.
Last year, big names like Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl and Muse were among the nearly one million people who supported [I]Killing in the Name.
The track ended the longtime stranglehold the X Factor has had on the festive number one slot.
Nearly 30,000 people have signed up to the campaign which aims to get the experimental composer silent piece in the Christmas top spot.
It reads on the page: "'On the week beginning December 13th, the usual chart battle for Christmas number one begins ... let's make it a silent night on Radio 1."
