I was thinking the same, although I'm only 14...lol...maybe look at Tescos/Sainsburys/Asda somewhere like that, stacking shelves? Or a local café?

John Lewis/Waitrose often always search for christmas staff and that can potentially lead to a part time/full time job. Pay is good (starting from around £6.50) and there are many many perks/discounts at various places.

I was on the shopping complex before with a friend (popular irl) and i'm not joking, every single shop had a little notice in the window wanting christmas staff.

I'm going up their tomorrow to try and get myself some monies over christmas.

Try it.

Right now it is so hard for adults to find work, let alone people that are looking for a Saturday job. The best thing you can do is to find supermarkets, small shops, cafe's and restaurants.

Try them all and see how it goes, you might get lucky.

WHAT?! I go around town every Saturday and I'm lucky to see one sign for job openings. Even when enquiring they just tell you that there are no jobs yet thousands of applicants. Speaking to the manager in Frasier's, just coinsidence I got to speak to him while enquiring, he said that they were getting at least 50 CVs a day. I mean ok that's a big store but 50 a day for christ's sake, that's a joke.

There has been so many threads on this before. I can't really hlp as I don't live in the UK and don't know what places are constantly hiring I'd try a local shop or a McDonalds or somet.

Good luck getting a Saturday job!

The best place for a Saturday job would be more of a local shop as a lot of people will be applying at retail stores and supermarkets who will have experience. So yeah, best looking in shop windows, handing a CV in shops. I guess you could check the newspaper as they're more likely to post a saturday job than online.
