Good spot cream?

Ok so ATM i am getting quite a lot of spots..and it's annoying. I can get rid of them but then they just come back andew days later.

Does anyone know a good spot cream or something that removes AND prevents them from returning? My mum won't buy anything expensive but I have some money so whatever is better than germolene and consistent washing lol.

get it from all supermarkets and like boots, superdrug etc. it's like £1

I use clearasil night cream, they go really quickly :)
