fair enough but can you explain why you think this? (not disagreeing with you or whatever but would like to know what you feel is different from the first 2)

Saw III is where the story began taking second place to the gore. The first Saw is a fantastic film, the rest are no where near as good, even if Saw II is still a solid picture. Saw III is okay, but is the point where the series started going majorly downhill.

personally i thought the first one was quite boring, i liked 2 & 3 but i do have to admit they are quite dragging now. i hope saw 3D finishes the series off perfectly

Saw was an excellent story-driven horror-thriller, while the sequels, for the most part, are just violence for the sake of violence, Saw V being the absolute worst of the lot.

The music is the best part of the films.
Saw 3 was the best saw so far!
I have them all on DVD. :p

I dunno about that, DVD looks great on my 32inch HD tv! :)
I think it's just a change to see it on tv.. if it comes on tv you just generally seem to watch it
