The Forum Review
Part 1: Moderation Changes
Over the past few days we have been busy preparing part one of a series of reforms to the Forum Department, which we have dubbed "The Forum Review" for those of you who follow politics!
This stage of the changes are changes to the very structure of the Moderation part of the Forum Department. I will list the parts I believe will affect you.
Global Moderators
Moderators no longer have their own sections to maintain, they moderate all forums similar to Super Moderators. This is due to inequality after numerous forum reshuffles (namely graphics is 3 forums big, and general is a lot more!).
Because of this the Moderator non vip / donator staff colour has changed to allow them to be more visible on the forum - if you need to PM them about an issue you may have having for example. The new colour is one some of you may recognise: Forum Moderator.
Super Moderators
They will continue to have the ability to ban, notify you of profile rule breaks and some other key Super Mod duties, however they cannot correct Moderator mistakes. In the event you feel a Moderator has made an error - you should pm Forum Management and they will sort it out for you :)
Staff Changes
Due to these changes, General Management have seen fit to reduce the staff limit for the department. It will now consist of:
3 Global Moderators
3 Forum Super Moderators
Thus, it's regretful to say that Dictionairies. is no longer a Forum Moderator. We thank him for this hard work and time over the past few weeks, and wish him all the best for the future :)
Misc
Not strictly part of this review, however important to mention none-the-less:
- The following infractions will no longer be issued: Posting Pictures of Other Members (it is now under Posting Private Content) and Multiple Posting.
- Rule A12 has been removed due to the removal of Social Groups in a previous Sunday updates.
This system may take a couple of days to get working smoothly, your patience and understanding will be very much appreciated during this period :).
