I think the ones that aren't ******edly loud are nice. Like the ones on the ground where they make the fizzy noise and spin aobut and stuff are cool.

I cannot stand them. The only time I like them is when the clock strikes midnight on New Year's Eve and I go outside, but I hate them every other day of the year. Too noisy and they frighten my pets.

I enjoy the ones that are just colourful, the noisy ones annoy me.

I don't know what i'm doing for bonfire night, I usually go over town for the fireworks over there but Joe McElderry is performing so I doubt i'll be going there.

I like them, wouldn't buy them though - a complete and utter rip off, watching your money go up in smoke (or in the bin, as is the case with the duds). I like public displays although sadly the UK doesn't seem to do very well on them, the likes of Austrialia do wonderful displays though like in Sydney Harbour.

They're just colours in the sky, and they're so noisy I'd wish people would stop doing them :@

My mates used to go up north and buy them, smuggle them into ROI then sell me some, some fun times but when a 100 shot topples and a cop van drives into a estate ur ******** it ha.

Also bonfire night and halloween are the same day for us

Over the last 2 weeks or so, I've been hearing firework, i think people just set the off for the fun of it.
I like watching them on bonfire night so pretty.

They are so loud and people just set them off for no reason. It's not even bonife night yet and people are already setting them off ;p They are ok to look at but once someone was setting a firework off and it nearly hit me so I am scared of them.

Fireworks are illegal here but we can just go to the next state over and buy some then bring them back. Idiots.

Like Dan, I prefer the big displays over smaller, garden ones. We used to have a Bonfire Party each year until I was about 13 but then we stopped. Disney do some brilliant firework displays at their theme parks so we prefer to just wait for those :P

...and yes.. they frighten my cat! :(

I hate the small crappy ones that just spark.

Me and my neighbours tend to spend a fair amount on them. Not massive, like £300? Always seems like a waste to me afterwards, but they are fun while they last.
