Yeah, I posted a while back about a new system that I was building, and listed all the parts for it, and i've basically finished browsing fully and stuff, and just want your opinions on everything:

Bear in mind that my budget was only about £500, so i've already gone over.

Opinions? :)

Seems a decent system, will you be taking photos of you building it Jack? :D

If I remember, then yeah! :P

Hopefully the build should go smoothly, as although the case is fairly cheap, it's apparently good quality, and easy to set up with. :)

I'm going to base these lack of replies on that this setup is good, so i'll be buying it all over the next couple of months (it keeps getting cheaper every day, so I may as well wait!). :)

I have a pretty much identical system, but I have a 965 and 8GB of RAM. It was an amazing system with just 4GB but I needed more for srs multitasking. Good choices.

Very nice indeed. Can we see photos when it's finished?

Yeah hopefully all the hardwork will pay off.

Good to hear then, thanks! :D

Yeah, I will definitely take a photo of when it's finished, and probably in the making too, as i've said above. :)

Thanks!

I've had to change my motherboard due to Ebuyer no longer selling it. It's slightly cheaper, and pretty much the same, so it's alright...

Never prepare what you're going to build more than a month in advance, computer parts change so often. Also don't buy over time, buy all at once, it's not worth having outdated parts for no reason.

It looks good, although 500GB fills up really quick these days.

And yeah, I think 500GB will suit me though. Thanks! :)

Implies that you're buying it over time, it might just be me though :b

If you think so, you could RAID them for a rainy day. HDDs are so cheap these days..

It looks like a good set-up, something I'd sure go for. I might build a computer eventually. aha.

Keep us updated, and all the best! :)

Enjoy.

Why only a quad-core instead of a six-core?

Stephen!

Because it's £70 more expensive?
