Hello.

I found out about Habbox about 2 years ago; at the time I never got into the site or forum due to it being packed full of people who looked too "cool" for me. Well, after smartening up I've decided to register and maybe this time I might start using the forum. I'd like to also take this opportunity to comment on the Halloween skin I'm using right now: it looks great! I think it's the best I've seen around on forums for a while.

So, who am I? Well, I'm Richard, I'm 13 and I originate from Manchester. I currently live in both London, but at the weekend (and days off school) I travel over to Luton to stay with my Dad. My life is quite difficult like that but I really would rather this than my parents being together; non-stop shouting and moaning! I won't go into too much detail though, the story isn't the most pleasant of them all.

Well, that's enough boring stuff. I'm looking forward to becoming a "solid" member of the community - Maybe even staff... but we'll see. I really don't know where to start! There's a wide variety of forums (which is good), then again it's hard to keep up with everything. Can I also add; I feel like I've missed a lot from Habbox since it opened ages ago... I can't remember exactly when though. Right, that's it. I'm done with this post!

Yours,
Richard.

Hi Richard, welcome to Habbox Forum :)

I thought HxF was full of the little "clans" at first; everyone knew each other and had inside jokes which I didn't understand! Then I started to hang around in the Habbox Help Desk on Habbo (owned by xxMATTGxx now) and everyone was rather welcoming.. hey.. that's still where I am most of the time.

Habbox has been around since 2004 so there's a lot to learn! :P May I add, you're the perfect example of why teenagers shouldn't be sterotyped - your grammar is exceptional. I really do hope to see you posting around the forum, and maybe in the staff section too!

Welcome once again,
Matt

Welcome to the forum! It's interesting you mention about 'cool' people. Mods are here to ensure the cool people don't go too far so don't be scared of saying what you think and stuff. :D

Oh and cos I kinda have to (it's in my job description honest!), www.habboxforum.com/comps (http://www.habboxforum.com/comps) - not much there atm but come the 1st, they'll definitely increase :)

Oh very witty! I think the Competitions department would be the best for you! ;) They're infamously known for their terrible jokes :P

Hey welcome to Habbox :)

I'm gonna be mean to Mathew and point out that Habbox has actually been around since 2003, and HabboxForum has been around since June 22nd 2004 (here's me the Habbox geek).

It's a shame you didn't register earlier but hopefully you'll be able to make up for lost time now!
