For my daffyd outfit I'm going to need, red cheek makeup and umm the stuff that makes ur skin pale.

What are they called?

You're looking for blush and really pale foundation. You can even go to a party store and get straight white makeup.

To be honest though it's (I'm guessing...) just a one night thing rather than a new hobby for you Richie, so it'd be much cheaper and probably easier for a singular event to go with a light coating of facepaint rather than go all out with real makeup, unless your mum has some stuff she'll lend you in the right shade/colour for the job

That may not be a good idea, cheap make up screws up your skin :P
But if you want some cheapish stuff go to wilko/boots/superdrug and buy some collection2000 pale foundation and blusher (there are different tones if you want)

The quick makeup guide

Lipstick - a colour stick for your lips, comes in a stick or pencil form
Lipgloss- more of a fluid, makes lips glossy
Blusher - can come in powder, cream , ect.. adds colour to your cheeks
Consealer - a stick or cream which can cover imperfections (not the whole face)
foundation - comes in power OR liquid form, to cover whole face
Power - to set your makeup, foundation, can be coloured or translucent
Mascara - for eyelashes, comes in loads of colours & lengthens, makes thicker ect..
Eyeliner - lines the eyes, comes in many colours, you can have gel forms, pencil, liquid.
lip liner- preps lips for lipstick, lines lips really, comes in pencil form.
eyeshadow - a colour which goes on your eyes, comes in many colours, can come in powder, cream and many other forms
Primer - makes makeup last much longer, comes in nudes and white colours, in cream or liquid usually, is used for foundation, eyeshadow, lipstick
Bronzer - basically a blusher but adds colour
lip balm- helps chapped lips, can come in colours, flavours or just plain!
