Coleen Rooney has declared that her marriage to Wayne is back on track.
It was rumoured that the couple's relationship was on the rocks when Wayne was alleged to have paid 21-year-old prostitute Jenny Thompson for sex while Coleen was pregnant.
However, Coleen has now announced that the pair are "fine", and confirmed earlier reports that they are to renew their wedding vows next June, according to the Daily Express.
Speaking at the couple's seven-star resort hotel in Dubai, Coleen said: "We came out here to get away from everything. We wanted some time away.
"Don't you think me and Wayne deserved this break after everything? Wayne and I are fine. We just want some peace and quiet and some time by ourselves."
Coleen is also believed to have been instrumental in persuading Wayne to sign a new contract at Manchester United, after the striker appeared to want to depart the club last week.
A family friend said: "Coleen was pivotal in his change of mind. He listened to her and realised she was right. He was only too aware that after everything he has put her through he owed her a bit of decency.
"It was a sign he trusts her with his future and that had a big impact on her. She is ready to draw a line under the scandal and move on. She said they should renew their marriage vows and he took less than a second to say yes."
