Windows Live Messenger 2010 Download

Does anyone know where I can download the 2010 windows live messenger? I've gotten fed up with the 2011 version because it's unfinished, freezes, and is also missing features the last one had... not to mention they even changed the smilies so the angry one looks like a happy devil and the happy devil looks angry.

I found a download for 2010 version, however even though i've uninstalled the 2011 version it keeps saying I have a newer version installed and therefore won't let me install it!

I had this problem and coulnt get rid of it.

Make sure you have removed ALL the files related to it. Check:

Start menu
Program files (my computer/local disc/program files (maybe x86)

Also for future reference, for freeware/shareware I always use www.filehippo.com :)

Ah ty, this worked when I uninstalled the movie maker too +rep if I can.

I've had exactly the same thoughts. Messenger 11 sucks.
