Most people, when they attended primary school, obviously as children, were asked by their teachers at some point, or maybe by some other adult? What did they want to be?
I was in Kindergarten, and the teacher asked all the kids. They yelled things such as: "Policeman!" "Fireman!" "Nurse!" "Doctor!" and so forth.
I was asked the question. I just gave them a blank look. I had no idea what I wanted to be. Till this day, I still have no idea, and the real world is approaching me soon...I remember the teacher said you'd know in 10 years time, it's been more than 10 years now. :P
What did you all want to be as a child? And what do you want to be now? Who still has no idea like me? :D Well I've considered some things, but I'll keep that to myself. ;)
Blu <33 ;) Um as a child i'd always wanted to be a teacher. Mum used to say i had the intelligence. Don't know about now. Haha. Now I have no idea whatsoever what I want to be. I wanted to be an aerostess but my mum said you don't get much money plus you have to learn like all the languages in the world. So I kinda went off that idea. :) I don't know how i'm going to cope when I get back to school as I chose my options lmao and I didn't even have a reason why I wanted to do those subjects.
Lmao, my teacher asked me in reception and i said i wanted to be a washing machine... then when i was told that was impossible i wanted to be a princess... Muahaha... Now i want to either be a one bewbed pole dancer or marry some rich old man and put posion in his coffee...

Washing machine? LOL. Woah, compared to now, those are major distributed choices. :P
Nah on the serious side... i already planed what poison im going to use (Nail varnish remover mixed with hair bleach)

Then you can get into Technical and Furthur Education (TAFE) courses. If they have them where you live, we call it TAFE here. I dunno about other countries.

That's great, I have a couple of female friends at school who want to be beauticians. I've known them since primary school, and they both said they wanted to be nurses at the time, lol.

Ye i got kicked out of school year 9 and now im in alt ed doing eng math and art gcse's, my nail course and various other courses. And um doing media and socialogy out of school so just cos u aint in school dont mean u cant get on with stuff. Im also sorting out a work placment in september
I wish i got kicked out of school:'( Going into year 10 when i go back. That s'ucks.
It does set u back like. But the way i think about it. If i carried on in school the way i was going i wouldnt of got a single Gcse, now im getting like 5 and i got chances to do things i really want to do. Its what suits u. if uve got the brain and the attitude for school then keep at it but if its really not working for u theres alternatives.
Hmm well i haven't really got the attitude. But they never seem to expell me, only suspend. :'(

But urm, when I was younger there was: Lawyer, teacher, doctor, author, actress < None of which I could do xD
In my year 8 and 9 booklets of achievement on the careers page I always put
" I want to be a pink wall or some sliced bread "
And to this day I want to be a pink wall.
So pretty.

Like bubbless.
I also used to pretend I worked in a bar lmao, and serve cups of water and bubbles to urm, well myself. I'd pretend to be customers.
And I used to pretend to be on television. Since we had our bath and our shower next to eachother. There was a glass panel seperating them, so Id be watching in the shower then jump out and go host the news or something in the shower =']

I had it planned out, when I was younger I called Chimpanzees, Gorillas, Bonobos, and Orangutans Monkeys but- I was wrong they are Great apes. Well my Dream Job is Primatology a branch of Zoology. Right Now I have a Internship at the local zoo... Caring for baby capuchin monkeys (Chimpanzees and those great apes, I need a little bit more experience), and Cleaning up the Dens/cages.

Its not a paying job but I do get "Cummunity Service" time... Meaning once I get 250 hours I get a special Graduation Gown :D.

Back then I wanted to be a movie star, a doctor, a writer, or a rockstar.
Overtime I realized that
I hate memorizing lines
I didn't want to be in school that long
I don't really enjoy writing if it'll take me more than five minutes
I can't sing... but then I heard the Meat Puppets, Bob Dylan, and the Smashing Pumpkins and realized that wasn't a problem ;)
As for now what do I want to be? I was an art major at college. I went mostly just for a few more years of free time without having to worry about getting a real job as dream jobs don't come true for most people. I ran out of money and came back home. Now I'm a really hungry artist. Seriously, there's no food in the house and I paint. And I make album art for the local bands and play in my own band from time to time.
So I guess now I just want to be a simple artist/musician... it's what I 'm doing anyway. It's not the most profitable gig but it's more enjoyable than going back to the factory.
