the way some people type is just so anoying
i.e. like "im goin 2 da br m8 cn u pik me up"
or "Y3 ii C4N 848ii"
or more recently, when people try to type properly but completely **** it up cos theyre stupid "someone gose for a pooh and dos'ent wash there and wipe there bumm :Lx" - thats someones facebook status, it only annoyed me because that guy doesnt bother going to school. And seriously, who cant spell "goes"? And the fact he doesnt even understand why there is an apostrophe in "doesn't"

I remember typing like "m8" and "d8" or "gr8", god i wish i didnt its so ******ed now.

So what typing "phases" have you gone through? :P

I think shortening some words is ok, like "u" instead of "you", I mean it does save time. What I hate is people spelling things like "funni". It's no shorter than "funny" and its just stupid :l. I hate chav speak the most though...it's so incredibly stupid :/

Yeah i do that, but well sort of. I care about capital letters (i dont really mind if others dont use them though, but i tend to). But i do change some words like yeah (just seems less formal than yes) and u and stuff like that.

I tend not to think about it. I occasionally add a 'z' aswell to stuff just coz im cool like dat...

Hmm, When I was younger, I would probably type using 'Text speak' or whatever, but nowdays I tend to type using grammar correctly etc. but if I can't be bothered I'll just type without punctuation and capital letters. The only thing that annoys me is when people typ with each word starting with a capital letter like :
"Hello, I Like To Type With A Lot Of Capital Letters!!!", I use to type like that lol.

I usually type everything out in full the only thing that really annoys me is ridiculously poor grammar and spelling.

I also type 'I' as 'i' but only in the middle of sentences i type all the first words with capitals.

Oh yeah and people Putting Capital Letters At The Start Of Every Word Irritates Me.

I used to type in 'text speak', but I grew out of it.
I get annoyed by the phrase 'kk'. Fully don't see the point in it when 'OK' is a 2 letter word aswell. I also get really annoyed when some of my friends feel the need to 'type in scottish'. They type scottish slang words, and try to talk in the slang, its really annoying.

I try to type normally with proper punctuation and correct spelling, it's much easier to read than 'dis r gr8'. It also hurts inside when people use the wrong there/their/they're.

I used to type like you mentioned in the first post lol, when I was a teenager.

As I have grown up though I have preferred to use proper English. With exception to text messaging, I still flout proper English in that haha.
