Well basically i'm getting a new computer for Christmas, and it'd need to be able to handle things such as cinema 4d, and games such as Crysis without any problems, and with amazing graphics.

I'm crap with computers, and i have no idea where to look for what i want, i have a budget of anything under £1900, which would include the computer, a monitor, keyboard, and a mouse.
If anyone has any suggestions feel free :)

+rep for any help ;D

Alsooo, i was looking at the 27" imac with 2.96Ghz i7 and 8gb ram, but any suggestions welcome xD

You could build a very good i7 rig for that.

Overpriced, and owned by Dell. Only the laptops are good. Building a system is a better alternative.

What's your budget Pazza? I'll see what I can do for you.

It'll decrease the life-span of 'awesomeness' by like 3 months, once you're above £1000 there is very little difference if you increase the amount. It mostly allows you to get a nice looking case. Aesthetics really.

I'd recommend building it, it's more fun and most commercial computers at this cost will generally cost more just for a better design (eg. Apple Tax). They're actually not very hard to build, if you've ever installed RAM, that's the level of difficulty it gets to. Just like a really expensive puzzle.

The only annoying part when building is the damn thermal paste, or accidently *****ing your fingers on jumpers.

I don't really see how you've managed to do that, and thermal paste is easy, just put a rice grain size amount on and Bob's ya uncle ;)
