Yeah, along with the other guy. Karens nice to the eye but I do find that having them for another series will be a bit dry. Hopefully they change one of them for the series after next.
RORY thats his name.

I think they do need to mature it up the tiniest bit, but they can't really do that without getting rid of all 3, I think its becoming slightly cheesier & straying away from its original path
But i disagree with hating christmas specials, i think the sycorax was one of the best monsters introduced

cyberman one was GOD AWFUL though.
but yeah, matts attitude with his costume is what annoys me. His clothes scream "lol look at me im lively" but matts voice is quite serious-like. Karen just cant act imo and whoever does rory is annoying.

Doctor Who's had a lot more comedy, since it came back in 2005.

Its had comedy but its also known how to interact emotions, i felt it alot less with the last series but prior series having effected my emotions
I think they even done better when they stuck to basic cgi rather than the full in your face stuff
Im guessing if the writing and shooting was back to the way it was prior it'd be much better, the writing seems a little bit plainer at times but then jumps to a total mind ****.

It's had comedy moments, but there have been really serious bits aswell. Donna "dieing", rose in other world (the beach/when theyre at the walls crying), the whole of blink is serious pretty much, the whole since the doctor crashed into the room with the master in (up until he regenerates). With Matt, there's never been a real serious moment, I expect there to be at the end of the series. I wish david could have done that series, would have been more epic imo.

Really couldn't fit any previous companions to that ending though, don't think it'd have suited any

Never said amy had to go, just as long as she gets sexual still it would be all good.

She's not going to be getting sexual on a program also targetted at kids
Would be if she went ;)
I actually think Arthur from Merlin would be a beast of a Dr Who LOL

Anyone seen or going to see, Doctor Who Live?
I'm going to see it in Liverpool on wednesday.
The BBC seem to be milking Doctor Who lately, with DW Live and now the exhibition,

Yeah i love orchestral music for some reason especially when its got like a really inspiring sound to it, hard to explain it just seems to be quite inspiring music with more background than sound lmao

Just Got Back From It From The Echo Arena :D And OMG IT WAS AMAZING :D
My favourite part was when The Daleks came out at the end :D
Favourite line was when The Doctor was speaking to churchill and said '' Don't Smoke Indoors, Don't Read The Newspaper and DONT GO ON THE INTERNET! ''
I'll post a full review with pictures what I took :D

I like matt to be fair. He had a hard job coming after David because so many people loved David but he has stepped up and I think he's pretty good.
I hope the Xmas special is good though. Not sure if I'll be able to watch it though I'm in france and my mum decided to cancel the sky subscription there :/

TBH all the specials have been terrible, with the exception of the waters of mars which in my opinion was fantastic and one of the best since the return. I believe matt is a good doctor and in this next season will be given a chance to shine. It would be an impossible task for anyone to follow tennant. The problem i have with this new series is yet instead of good bad and moderate episodes, theres only really good or dreadful which sort of looses my intrest. Amy's choice, the final 2 episodes and the weeping angel episodes were all fantastic, but the rest were just blah.
On the plus side i love that there carrying a storyline throughout a whole series / 2 as it indulges you more than just a random 2 part finale you get a series conclusion.

Did we watch the same program.
At first i thought I was one of the few to really prefer Smith over tennant but it appears imdb is full now of people saying how much they prefer him over tennant.
Tennant was good but as often pointed out by many, usually just gritted his teeth and stuff. The problem also was the wiriting. Russel T Davies may have brought the series back but he also made it a laughing stock at times - I mean the last of the timelords was it - time just reversed everyone forgot, a press if daleks get out of control button (journeys end).
I really feel that the in the last series there was a new, fresh feel and everything felt and looked a lot better.

Tbh Davies only had a good few episodes imo so I'm glad he's gone.

That scene was probably cut because of how sexual it was :P It was funny though.

I agree with both parts! That's 6 out of 13 and in previous series, to me, there were only ever 1-2 flops which, when rewatched, would actually be much better (I found unicorn and the wasp/midnight/love and monsters all boring when I first watched it but after a while, you sorta look deeper into it all and it becomes much more funny/scary/nostalgic). I've tried to rewatch the bad episodes of Season 5 and turned off in boredom.

"You have to remember" from Series 5 is similar to the "say Doctor at the right time" of Series 3. I agree that davies pushed the reset button a bit too often and the whole time reversing thing in series 3 really annoyed me but Moffat also presses the reset button too. The only difference is Moffat's reset button is a bit more subtle than Davies.

The reset button what Moffat did, was his way of getting Davies crap out the way xD
I just wish the show would get a bit more series like Chris was when playing the ninth Doctor.
