Can someone please kill this off? It really is the most pointless thread purely for postcount. It provokes no discussion what so ever, it is just people posting "Oh it's raining" after all. And what really irritates me is the fact the vast majority of us come from the UK where the weather is similar all over. When it's a sunny day, chances are it's sunny for 70% of the rest of Habboxforum so it's really no biggy.

I was hoping this thread would die but it just won't do it and it strikes me as so pointless it irritates me :(

It also raises the bigger issue of the poor quality of threads these days throughout the forum which is becoming quite a significant issue for me and for others.

As long as the reply isn't just 'raining' or 'quite sunny' then I do not see a problem.
If the reply is something like 'It's raining at the moment but will hopefully stop soon xD' or 'Yea it's sunny but I don't think it'll last long :(' then I personally think it's fine.

I don't think people should post the weather more than once or twice a day though because there isn't really any need unless there's a dramatic change in the weather :P.

They are all just as stupid as each other. To be fair Jake, you used to make 90% of this crap - although it was helpful at the time, it just isn't needed now.

Luke, the problem is that saying 'it is currently quite cloudy' is just as pointless as saying 'quite cloudy'

Inseriousity.

I don't really think we should be doing anything that discourages posting, pointless or otherwise. If anything, I think we should be posting more non-pointless threads rather than moaning about the pointless ones. This way, there's a pro-active solution.

just leave it so what if people just want post count

then you and others should stop using forums then because all of them have 'poot quality' threads somewhere along the line

Quite obviously there isn't, they're pointless and therefore unnecessary. Useless posts do not attract or keep people using the forum so there is no point them being there. At least this thread is constructive and argumentative and got me posting, more than any weather based thread could do :)

http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=673221Apologies should of posted my complaint in there, 'parently I'm not the only one with these views :)

It's a totally pointless thread, there's no discussion and yes, it was used to cheat in the post count competition a while back.

It should go IMO

Haha, must admit I regret posting in that thread. It automatically adds threads to my subscribed list when I reply, so I get an email every-single-flipping-day when someone replies, telling me that it's "pissin it down agen:@:@:@"

I haven't removed the subscription though as I thought it would die down after a couple of days. Obviously not :P

I think you should leave these threads, to be honest the forums are supposed to be enjoyable and if this is part of what makes it that then why not.

I agree, I get allot of enjoyment out of posting if its raining or not.
