The Greek island Crete! Went at the end of August and came back early September. It was darn hot and there wasn't really much to do other than swim in the sea all day, play cards all night and read a book whenever and those flapping cicadas wouldn't shut the flap up. Zuzpozzuzzuzozyzozgzizh every day from 3am to 10pm, give me a damn break! Still, it was nice and relaxing and snorkelling was a lot of fun. The heat was a bit much for me though.

Venice. Such a great city, I strongly recommend it. The only downside is that it lives up to the name of "tourist trap", but Saint Marco's Square empties out when they have their siestas so it becomes empty and nice to walk around during that time.
