Bad Haircut [+rep]

basically i got this really ugly old woman looking haircut on my bangs, they're way too short.
the shortest piece is the length of my thumb which is about 2 or 2.5 inches ish
i can't even clip them back with one of these clips http://www.notmartha.org/images/other/2009may/hairclips.jpg

basically i need ways to keep my hair back and keep it from looking ugly, do you have any? we aren't allowed to wear hats at school either.
oh and ps just a ponytail won't work, the bangs are too short and i end up looking like a bad 80's backup dancer

well its not my whole head, its my bangs only, people usually do that for their whole head

OMG I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!
I use one of these hair bands:

It keeps the stupid bangs back and I just use bobby pins to pin it down. :)

I asked for right below my eye and even pointed to it. well I got that at first...until he razored it off with this razor texturizer thing! :@

Same here. And I asked the lady to only trim and get rid of split ends and she cut off an inch or two. My hair used to me up to my waist now its just below my shoulders. I'm still so mad about it.
