Running Windows XP, on an administrator account.. Any idea guys?

Do you happen to know what caused it to become disabled?

A lot of this time this is result of malicious software.

If I were you I would download Malware Bytes Anti Malware and run a full scan. The task manager may have been disabled by malicious software.

I think it was because I received the computer from a relative who had forgotten the password to the user account, so I ran the PC in safe mode and got onto it that way, resetting the password. Will run a scan as well though just in case though, thanks.
