Android Update +REP

I have an LG GT540 (Optimus) currently running on 1.6 and I want to upgrade to 2.1, LG says the update is possible but when I try to it doesn't do anything even when I run as Administrator

Any help is greatful

I have the exact same phone and just updated it.

Just download the LG Download Manager and make sure you have plugged the phone it so it can install all the drivers.

MrJordan are you on o2? cause mine doesnt show up as an update at all just says that the phones up to date although i check the about phone section and it says its 1.6 still lols.

Maybe it isn't ready for your network. As updates for Android don't always come straight from the manufacturer and first get sent to the carriers so they do any adjustments and what not.
