Honest opinion on HabbCrazy V6

Right, there's this big issue about our current design "ripping" ClubHabbo. Since everybody on that forum is "ClubHabbo for life", I would like to ask for your input.

Most the people on CHF haven't seen our previous design (version 3) which at a lot of requests, I'v based it on a design that was created years before their current design.

The only thing that is similar is how the timezone changer and the users online is in the top header - but where else would you put that?

It's so annoying, because all the hate towards me for it makes me want to change it just for them to piss off. I'v done nothing wrong, uses resources from our past layouts.

Does make me laugh how any comment that states CH is similar to HabboTimes, they just ignore it.

We actually used ajax before ClubHabbo haha. Thanks, I keep on meaning to add credit links to the archive.

ClubHabbo is mainly always the same, except for a few people but the rest just jump on the bandwagon.

Anyway, I really liked the old design because it was really nice and bright. But the new one is great, although a few colours could be brightened up because I always remember HabbCrazy for all those nice bright colours haha.

Yeah, for some reason this monitor is a lot brighter to most monitors. On mine, it looks how it should do. I'm going to recolour it on my other laptop that has the same brightness as others.

Club Habbo didn't invent ajax, they weren't the first, thousandth or even hundred thousandth website to adopt ajax :P


It's not ripped, ignore their invalid accusations, and enjoy having one of the nicely designed Habbo websites out.

Moving onto the topic though, I really like the layout. I don't actually use layouts to determine whether a site is something I'd like though, it's the community (although I know that this isn't always the case) but it looks practical and it's nice how everything is set out clearly and easy on the eye. I did notice that there's an apostrophe on poll's which doesn't really need to be there but that's not a layout issue, just a small easy-to-fix grammar mistake. :)

I used to love V3 tbh but yeah this version is OK but not better than V3 :)
other than that Clubhabbo are just a bunch of people who say anything is ripped and take pleasure for it.

Don't worry about it Jack, everybody at ClubHabbo are so up ClubHabbo's arses it's unreal to be frank. I rather like V6 - I see no 'ripping whatsoever. Sure, there may be the odd similarity here and there but that's the fansite cycle. You take ideas/inspiration from your past layouts and maybe one or two of another site(s) and then totally recreate it and mae it your own.

I don't even see how ClubHabbo has a community. For example, if you post a thread advertising your new fansite they instantly rip at you about it, imo.

I really like the layout. I think by far, it is HabbCrazys best to date. The only thing I don't really like is the DJ Says box but apart from that it's great. :)
