I want to get 99 Wc...but I'm a busy person so i can only w/c 1-2 hours a day (more on a weekend).

I'm cutting Ivy at varrock atm with a rune hatchet - I can get a drag one but it will take me a day or 2 to do.

My wc is just about 80 (about 10k xp off - will get by 2nite)

So yeah, how long should it take me to 99 Wc at that rate of about 18 hours a week?

You have approx:

11048363 xp to go.

So you have to cut 33,229 ivys.

With an empty invent this is 1187 trips.

Say a trip takes about 3 minutes.

This is 3560 minutes.

I reckon about 60 hours of play.

So about 3 and a half weeks.

No - you don't get anything from Ivy except random events (eg; birds nest) :P

Ivy gives bird's nest on the odd occasion (and they only fall on the floor) so I'd ignore the trip bit.

1-2 hours a day? Would say it's gonna take a while tbh. Look at marine's comment and try to find that into scale. I'd say it'll take several months.

p.s. cos they give around 300xp per i believe

if you're only cutting for 1-2 hours then ivys aren't worth it. cut yews until 95 then magics until 99 then spend the money on a buyable skill or some nice items. If you waste 2-3 months on a skill and all you have to show for it is an ivy-cutting cape then it's not really worth it.
