Same. Granting wishes just seems more christmassy :)

Also did Make A Wish. I suggested it recently because it's such a great charity. There's Make A Wish foundations in UK, US, CA, AU, NZ and more. Take a look at what they do in your country!!
So far it seems that people are 50/50 between the two currently in a tie position

So that the voting is as impartial as possible. People tend to just vote for what ever is winning in the poll instead of voting for which one they actually want the money to go to.

Make a Wish. I think this is a lot more christmassy than GOSH.

Make A Wish. Even though they screwed mine up. Both are hugely deserving charities and I've benefited from both so I don't care.

I voted Great Ormond Street Hospital. They do lots of research into childhood illnesses and also treat them. Maybe if GOSH can make more breakthrough discoveries and continue to treat children, there won't have to be as many children suffering and making final wishes before they die. -looks at Make a Wish-

Make a wish foundation, but i fully accept I was a **** when I disagreed with GOSH. I still maintain that it's mainly an english charity, but they do good work for all children.

Nope must be one clear winner. We will never again be doing multiple charities it is an administrative and technical nightmare.

It wouldn't be a choice, just do half and half, that's easy, you take half and give it to one and then take the other half and give it to the second. I fail to see how it could be difficult.
That's a bit unfair really people can be very particular over where their money goes, to split it out 50/50 may seem like a good idea to you but it doesn't to me. This is the delicate matter of money we are talking about here, not playground currency of sweets and credits.

As much as I'd like to agree (pls no ban mr), if people want to be particular to where their money goes; they can donate it through the official channels, direct to the charities. I would love for my money to go to Make a Wish Foundation, but I'll be perfectly happy with my money going to GOSH. People wouldn't usually donate to charity, they're doing it because they want forum VIP. (Not everyone but ye).

I have this memory of you being one of the people that complained about the charities all being UK based.
You are trying to become less UK-orientated right? I gave feedback on that. I would have donated (well bought VIP tbh) even if it was a strictly UK only charity.

I wanted Shelter because I'm far more likely to become homeless than to turn into a dying child, but fair enough. Voting GOSH because as ODB eloquently put it, "when it comes to the children, Wu-Tang is for the children. We teach the children. You know what I mean?"

But we want to attract users from other hotels..
Seems a tad harsh, Makeawish was originally from the US and they claim to make a wish come true every 40minutes? when we in the UK only make a wish 70times amonth (at record). Still think the money would do better for the UK.
I hate when people say "attract users" like this will make much difference to what forum people use.

I voted for GOSH because by my logic it's better to prevent a life threatening disease, researching how to prevent them or caring for the children with life threatening disease, even though I fully recognise the positives of Make a Wish.

Gonna nominate the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation next year.

They are both very large charitys that have plenty of Media/ Celebrity backing already so I would of thought members would select a smaller organisation where the money would be more valued and go a longer way. Either way its nice to see Habbox still does this every year!
